Ting Vision at

Buckler's

Africa Lodge

Welcome to Ting Vision

Our lodge is built on the banks of the Crocodile River. It is where guests slow down after safari, watch the light change over Kruger and sometimes see wildlife from the deck, pool, restaurant or their room. With Ting Vision, our live riverfront camera becomes an even richer part of the stay.

The River Is Part of Every Stay

Located along the Crocodile River

Buckler’s Africa Lodge sits on the banks of the Crocodile River, bordering Kruger National Park. The river is part of everyday life at the lodge, from quiet moments overlooking the water to wildlife sightings that can unfold right from the lodge. At the same time, our location provides easy access to the southern Kruger for guided and self-drive safari experiences.

Ting Vision brings another dimension to this riverside setting. Our live camera uses AI wildlife detection to help identify animal activity along the river, capture interesting moments and share selected sightings with guests.

Live from the Lodge

Watch the Crocodile River Live

This is the view that is part of everyday life at Buckler’s Africa Lodge: the Crocodile River, the Kruger wilderness beyond it and the possibility of wildlife appearing at any time. Through our live riverfront camera, you can watch the river and see what is happening at the lodge in real time.

Wildlife is never guaranteed. Sightings depend on nature, weather, visibility, camera position and time of day. Ting Vision helps us notice more, but the wild still moves in its own time.

A Quieter Way to Notice What the River Is Showing Us

Powered by Latest Sightings

Ting Vision is an AI wildlife camera system created by Latest Sightings. At Buckler’s Africa Lodge, it connects to our live Crocodile River camera and helps detect wildlife activity in real time.

In simple terms, it acts as an extra pair of eyes on the river. It does not replace the experience of watching wildlife for yourself, whether you are sitting at the lodge or heading into Kruger with a guide. Instead, it helps us notice more of what is already happening around us and share selected sightings more easily.

How Ting Vision Enhances Your Stay

What This Means for Our Guests

Ting Vision fits naturally into the rhythm our guests already come for: time exploring Kruger, time at the lodge, quiet moments beside the river and the possibility of wildlife throughout the day.

A Fuller Safari Rhythm

Guided drives take guests into Kruger, while Ting Vision brings the riverfront into the rest of the stay. It creates a natural rhythm between adventure, relaxation, watching and discovery.

More Connected Downtime

Not every memorable sighting happens on a game drive. Ting Vision helps keep the river part of the quieter moments of the day, whether you're enjoying lunch, time at the pool, a spa treatment or an evening at the lodge.

Sightings That Can Be Shared

Some wildlife sightings happen in seconds. Ting Vision helps us record selected moments from the live camera, allowing them to be revisited, shared with guests and enjoyed beyond the moment itself.

Connected

"Ting Vision helps us keep the Crocodile River present throughout the guest journey, even when guests are not actively watching."

Connected to the Tingana Way of Hosting

Part of Tingana Collection

As part of the Tingana Collection, Buckler’s Africa Lodge shares a belief in authentic safari experiences, thoughtful hospitality and a close connection to nature.

Ting Vision supports that approach by helping guests slow down and notice more of what is happening around them. It does not make the bush predictable. It simply helps us pay closer attention to what is already here — the river, the wildlife, the changing light and the small moments that make a stay at Buckler’s memorable.
